Bakya, priya is not an active member here, she’s got a beautiful blog, you may visit that for more questions related to her recipes. As far as I know this should stay good for few days if stored air-tight. Thanks.

you will get pastry sheets in any grocery store like Stop and Shop, Whole Foods, Shaw's supermarket, Walmart/KMARt supercenters. Look in the frozen section or ask for help if you could not find it.

Pepperidge farm pastry sheets are good and most stores sell this.

it would have been nice if you could have shown a picture of how a single vertical piece is made to a heart shape to avoid mistakes. I am trying right now.. Not sure about the shape ??

Oh am so sorry Jaya, will upload very soon, hope u wont mistake the shape, coz once u cut,u may see the layers, in case if u cant able to see the heart shape, just press a bit to give the curve shape of the heart, mostly u may able to see once they r waiting for ur feedback, hope u would have got the shape…Thanks..

Yes one sheet of pastry gave me 12 hearts, 75% of them came in heart shape , remaining was near to that. I will improvise that. taste wise it was simply simply superb.. Could not resist to gobble and munch them as they were cooling down.  My son really loved it. he could not believe that I made it. He thought it was a store bought one…

I am going to make it this evening, my pastry sheet is outside ( to be thawed), little nervous .. will it turn out like yours ??? I love the little heart biscuits in India. Can’t believe that I am going to make my favorite, fingers crossed. Will let you know.
