cabbage pulav

Description

this one is less spicy and contains equal amount of cabbage with rice.very simple to make and tasty dish.

Ingredients
1 cup Basmathi rice
1 no Onion
1 cup Cabbage (shredded)
1 cup Cows millk
1 cup Coconut milk
1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
2 tsp Chilli podwer
10 nos Cahewnuts
2 tsp Ghee (for tempering)
1 tsp Oil
1 no Cinnamon
1 no Cardamom
1 no Clove
1 pinch Turmeric powder

Instructions

soak rice for 10 mins.wash the cabbage,cut the onion.heat the cooker and add ghee and oil.add cinnamon,clove and cardamom and fry for a min.then add cashews till golden brown.fry onion and ginger-garlic paste.add cabbage,chillipowder,turmeric powder and saute for 2 mins.drain water and add the rice and saute for 1min.now add cows milk and coconut milk.add salt to taste.when the milk starts boiling mix everything well.close the lid and cook in slow fire for 10mins.

Notes

serve this rice with onion tomato raitha.to make raitha mix a cup of curd,one small onion,one tomato,one green chilli,salt and coriander leaves.
