Rich in protiens… Very tasty with rotis and easy to prepare
|1 cup||Black eyed beans|
|1 cup||Greengram dhal (whole)|
|2 tsp||Garam masala powder|
|1 tsp||Turmeric powder|
|1 T||Lemon juice|
|Salt to taste|
|2 tsp||Red chilli powder|
|4 strands||Coriander leaves|
Wash and soak the Black eyed beans and greengram dhal (whole) for atleast 1hour.
Cook it in pressure cooker
Cut the onions, tomatoes, garlic, ginger
Heat oil in a vok or kadai, add ginger, garlic, onions and tomatoes and sauté it.
Add turmeric powder, garam masala powder, red chilli powder & salt to taste.
Add the cooked beans and dhal to this and mix it by adding little water so that it becomes gravy
After its done, mix lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves
