Ingredients

1/2tspFennel seeds
4each Curry leaves

1tspGinger Garlic paste
1/2cupTomato
1/4tspTurmeric powder
2tspRed Chili powder
1tbspCoriander powder
1tspSalt
2tbspCoriander leaves

Instructions
Wash and devein the prawns. Marinate with little turmeric powder and set it aside.
Heat oil in a pan, temper with cumin seeds, fennel seeds and curry leaves.
Saute onion with a pinch of salt until soft and translucent. ( 3 minutes )
Add ginger garlic paste and fry along until the raw smell leaves.
Add tomato and cook until soft.
Now add the turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder and salt. Saute these until the masala powder cook with the tomato onion base.
Add the marinated prawns at this stage and stir fry over high flame for 3 minutes. Prawns usually cook very fast, max 3 to 4 minutes. Cooking them longer will make it hard and taste rubbery. Alternate method: Cover & cook for few minutes over high flame to keep the soft.
Garnish with coriander and curry leaves.
Turn off the heat and serve hot as a side for rice
