This is an American style egg omelette.
Restaurant style egg omelete/ omelette/ omelet /omlet.
|2 pinch||Tumeric powder|
|Salt (as per taste)|
|½ no||Tomato(deseeded & chopped )|
|¼ no||Onion medium ( chopped )|
|¼ tsp||Pepper powder|
|1 T||Cheddar cheese|
|1 tsp||Monterey jack cheese|
|1 tsp||Olive oil|
Heat oil in a pan add chopped capcicum and mushroom. Stir fry for 30 seconds. Then add onion & tomato. Fry for 30 seconds. Switch off the stove add pepper and salt. Mix everything in that heat. Keep it aside.
In a wide bowl mix the eggs, 1 tbsp milk, turmeric powder and required salt. Whisk the eggs.
Heat the skillet or dosa pan. Spray no-stick cooking spray or spread some oil with paper towel. Pour the egg mixture in the skillet, and swish it around(Do this by picking up the skillet and rotating it slightly ). Leave the egg mixture for few minutes to allow it to cook. If any liquid mixture is left in the skillet, swirl it around again.
When the omelette once cooked (no meshy on top of the egg), Keep the heat in low. Put your fillings on the omelette one side only. Sprinkle the cheese. Fold the omelette from the other side. Swich off the stove. Remove the omelette gently from the pan. Have it hot!! Eat when you have empty stomach.
