Red Bell Peppers goes well even as raw while making salads, they will tastes good while making salads rather than green bell peppers..this stuffed red bell pepper goes well as main dish, as they r made with chicken n spices, this tastes awesome,i used emmental cheese for topping n i baked in oven..a tasty recipe for whole family..
Stuffed Red Capsicum/ Capsicum stuffed with chicken/ Red Capsicum
|1 cup||Chicken breast pieces|
|1 tsp||Garam masala powder|
|1 tsp||Red chilli powder|
|3 nos||Curry leaves|
|Salt as per need|
|2 nos||Red bell pepper|
|¼ cup||Emmental cheese(grated)|
|2 tsp||Olive oil|
Heat a cup of water with salt n pinch of turmeric powder, add the breast pieces to the hot water n cook them until they cooked well..now shred the chicken pieces with ur finger finely..keep aside..chop finely the onion n tomatoes pieces, heat oil in a pan add the onion pieces n cook them until they turns transculent, add the tomatoes pieces to the onion n cook them until they turns mushy, add the shredded chicken pieces to the veggies with red chilli powder n garam masala powder also salt as per need..put the flame in simmer n dont add water, close the pan with lid n cook them slowly, once the oil get separates put off the stove n add curry leaves to the chicken masala..keep aside n let them cool..
Cut the red bell peppers into two equal pieces..brush the inside of the red bell pepper pieces with olive oil..preheat the oven..Take a baking tray..arrange ur already oiled bell peppers without touching each other, now put a 2 spoons of cooked chicken masala inside the red bell pepper..top them with grated emmental cheese..Bake them at 350F for 15-20 minutes, keep an eye while baking, temperature n baking time may change according to ur oven..as i dont like to melt the cheese well, i didnt baked them for a long, if u like so, bake them until they melt very well..
Tasty stuffed red bell peppers in Indian style is ready to have..can serve them with ketchup r else with salads..
