|2 T||Olive oil|
|1 T||Lemon juice|
|3 T||Unsalted butter|
|4 clove||Garlic (minced)|
|1 lb||Cooked frozen shrimp|
|1 cup||White wine (optional)|
|1 tsp||Pepper powder|
|Salt (as per taste)|
|3 lb||Linguine pasta|
cook linguine pasta according to the direction on the package and set aside ,rinse shrimp and keep it aside
Now heat a large skillet add olive oil and melt the butter over medium heat .
Add garlic saute it for 1 minute till softened but not browned then add finely chopped shallot(onion)fry it for 1 minute now add shrimp , salt and pepper and cook the shrimp till it turns pink stirring occasionaly just for a couple of miuntes now garnish with parsley and lemon zest .
you can add white wine also but lemon zest and white wine are optional .
If the pasta is ready , add this shrimp scampi with pasta and serve ……
