Dear Friends,

   All is well and fine, there has been an exciting development at our end– we have moved into a new home ! Yes, we bought a house! Well, it needed little TLC which obviously means a bit of work. (OK, maybe more than a bit) Past two months were eventful but equally stressful- we had a lot of petty home improvement and renovation projects. Quite a bit of learning experience, trial and error goof ups, emotional ups and downs... too much of everything at the same time. Overall it was a fun filled experience with tough tasks. Making a house a home wasn't that easy in reality, but " Home is home, be it ever so humble "..... we adapted well, made it cozy and comfortable to suit our needs.

I know I've been off for a very long time, well now you know the reason, coming to my site...it was targeted with too much server problem, which wasn't that easy to fix amidst all this commotion. My sincere apologies for the inconvenience, posting will resume soon. Still many fix ups in waiting list, including my site...but atleast we are kind of settled so hopefully things will get better soon. Thanks for all your patience.

Gosh! My inbox is full today ! Thank you for all your wishes. My doctor isn’t likely to write me a prescription for daily dose of pampering any time soon, so definitely this is a good occasion for charging my batteries with little of everything. No kidding !! that's me today with all those treats, help yourself before its all gone.

Here comes my , been insanely busy last few weeks and couldn't reply to many of you on time. Moreover our server was not cooperative enough as well for posting issues... Yeah, I know that you don't buy this lame excuse. Hopefully we will be upgrading to a better server and posting shall probably resume next week.

Today marks the second anniversary of SpiceIndiaOnline. On this day of celebration I take the opportunity to thank each one of you for your constant presence, encouragement and support. I am also very thankful for all that this website had given me, its has been a great platform for learning and discovering. What could be more satisfying than rice topped with a scoop of fresh yogurt served with an array of pickles on the side ??? Well, starting a day in this lousy day light savings time with chores pressurising from every corner of the house means a challenging job for any women. Every one of us, need some kind of motivational start, an enchanted self to kindle our energy. Finding things which brings pleasure and meaning to our lives could be one such gateway for tackling any boring task. Give it a new start, rediscover lost potential, think positve, reboost self-esteem and pursue happiness by all means. Individual perspective varies with psychology, so, choose the one which does the magic for you.  Music has always been a great stress reliever for me and combined with any activity, kick starts my day. In my reality kitchen, a recipe for passion is always simmered with music, turning my ordinary stressful day to a happy working day.

"Glimpse of Eclipse" is a non-food related post submitted with the intension to give the readers, a break from my usual scary boring recipes. Its been 2 years since food blogging and every pot & pan in my kitchen, seems to literally caught up in the " leave me alone phobia" and me...desperately looking for an excuse to escape cooking.  Yesterday was perfect... a total lunar eclipse, crystal clear skies... brutally cold though, spicy Thai take out... what more could I ask for??  With something extraordinary happening in front of your eyes, with amazing beauty which we don't get to see that often, why not avail it ???? Quicky grabbed my camera and started gazing at the moon trying to capture the best.

A lunar eclipse occurs at Full Moon and only if the Moon passes through some portion of Earth's shadow. Total lunar eclipse takes place when sun, moon and earth are alinged exactly very close with Earth in the center.

Simple science
