|1 inch||Ginger (chopped)|
|3 nos||Green chilli|
|Tamarind ( marble size)|
|1 tsp||Mustard seeds|
|1 tsp||Urad dhal(ooluntham paruppu)|
1.Heat 2tsp of oil in a pan,add chopped onion,tomatoes,green chili and ginger.
2.fry them till the onions and tomatoes are well cooked.
3.let this mixture cool .
4.grind this mixture along with salt ,tamarind and little water to a smooth texture.
5.for seasoning ,heat oil and add the mustard seeds.
6.after the mustard seeds splutter add urad dal and curry leaves.
This goes well with rava dosai,idli ,masala dosai and uttapam.
omit ginger if u don’t like it (but ginger is good for health).
u can add chillies according to taste.
u can add ghee with chutney while serving.
