Okra Fritters

Description

Okra coated with flour and deep fried. Recipe source from Kalpanas corner, (crispy ladys finger) modified a bit to suit my taste.
Ingredients
10 nos Okra
2 tbsp Gram flour
1 tbsp Rice flour
¼ tsp Red chilli powder
3 pinch Salt (or to taste)
1 cup Oil (for deep frying)

Instructions

Mix gram flour, rice four, plain red chilli powder and salt in a bowl. Wash and cut okra into small circular pieces. transfer them from your cutting board to the bowl with flour. Slightly mix to coat all sides and deep fry in oil. Serve hot with curd rice.

Notes

Do not add any water, it will make mixing difficult. Okra when washed will have some water sticking to it,which is sufficient enough to coat with masala.

    One more idea for this recipe is we can also deep fry the whole ladies finger instead of cutting in to pieces….that will really taste yummy…
