|1 cup||Coconut (finely chopped)|
|1 tsp||Cardamon (powdered)|
|1 cup||Sugar (as required)|
|1 cup||All purpose flour/maida|
|1 pinch||Baking soda|

Heat the paniyaram pan over medium flame and add a few drops of oil in each Kuzhi(hole). Pour a ladleful of batter in each kuzhi and cook for 5 minutes. When done, flip to the other side using a fork or paniyaram stick and cook again for another 5 minutes or until its evenly browned.
Milk can be substituted with water or diluted coconut milk.
Egg and coconut are optional, Egg is just added for softness and rich taste.
Banana lovers can add banana also.
If you dont have the paniyaram pan, you can deep fry it or pour a spoon of batter on a tawa and spread it like dosa.
