Heat oil in a pan, splutter finely chopped curry leaves, fry the onions till soft then add the cauliflower florets along with turmeric powder, crushed pepper corns and salt. Sprinkle the water over it and , cover and cook the veggie till soft. Try to mash it with a spatula and let cool.
