This is my first post under Lunch box ideas, starting with a simple sandwich which would suit both for breakfast and lunch.Coming up with lunch box ideas for kids is the most challenging job.. as many schools don’t provide with microwaving facility. | 1 slice | White bread |
| 4 slice | Carrots |
| 4 slice | Cucumber |
| 1 tbsp | Lettuce shredded |
| 1 slice | 2% singles cheese any variety |
| 1 dash | Pepper powder (optional) |
Instructions
Trim the crust off the bread and cut it diagonally making two triangles. Thinly slice carrots and cucumber. Cut one cheese single into two triangles and shred the lettuce. With one half of the bread as base, place the items in this order (1.half cheese, cucumber slices, carrot slices, shredded lettuce, sprinkle pepper powder, other half of the cheese and place the second bread slice on top. Gently press and place in the lunch box. Choose any one side to go along (apple sauce, laughing cow’s Swiss cheese pack, fruit cups or fresh fruit slices, pack of orange juice)
Notes
Yield: 1 Kid Serving
Lunch Box : Mickey Mouse Bento box with compartments. If you don’t have one, then place the sandwich in a ziplock and place in regular lunch kit, nice and snugly to avoid mess.
