This is another cake that i tried using chocolate syrup and maragarine and it turned out to be a hit!!! Actually i bought margarine and chocolate syrup just like that and now i am going for a vacation to india so thought i will finish off all the stuffs that i have at home and tried experimenting chocolate cake with Hersheys chocolate syrup and margarine.So here the recipe is………..
|1 lb||Margarine or butter|
|1 cup||Cake flour or maidha|
|1 lb||Hersheys chocolate syrup|
|1 tsp||Baking powder|
|1 tsp||Vanilla essence|
Cream butter, sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beat well after each addition. Add chocolate syrup and blend. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add flour mixture to syrup and blend. Add vanilla essence. Pour into greased pan sprinkled with flour. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. If using 8-inch square pan, bake for 35 minutes.
1. If u r using any other chocolate syrup other than hersheys then reduce or increase the quantity of sugar accordingly.
2.Chocolate cake takes few minutes extra to bake than the normal plain cake that is wat i learnt from my experiment so be patient till it gets baked completely.
