1teaspoonMayonnaise
1/2teaspoonCoarse black pepper powder (optional)for added heat & browning
1tablespoonOil for pan fry
1teaspoonParsley (optional)chopped, for decoration
Instructions
In a shallow bowl, mix together Freshjax smokey southwest grill seasoning, cayenne, turmeric powder,soy sauce, mayonnaise, oil & salt. add in finely minced garlic for extra garlicky flavor.
Pat seasoning mix onto the flesh of the salmon fillet. Coat on all sides.
Now sprinkle the coarse black pepper powder on top.
In a large skillet, heat about 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Griddle pan works, use grill pan if you like to have grill marks.
Place salmon, flesh-side down, in the hot oil. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side.
Flip salmon with a spatula. Cook for another about 3-4 minutes, or until the skin becomes blackened & crisp.
