Dear Readers,

Do you have many products that you trash??? well there got to be a few that might make you think twice before you toss in the trash, there got to be some kind of creative way to use them and pretty sure we all do some kind of hacking when it comes to saving and budgeting. It could be a plastic bottle, container, bags, liners, newspaper, boxes and glassware, which could be put to re-use. So what kind of items do you never toss before getting at least a few use of them??? Please share tips and tricks to be resourceful.

Here goes my ideas.....

1. Old socks --- I use each colour for sorting loose coins and tie and knot. This helps me while depositing and they come in very handy when you are looking for specific coin.. like quarters.

2. Old tea cups ---- I use them for small herb gardening, just do window gardening.

3. Yogurt Containers -- This could put into many use, store beans, dals etc.. Good for small window gardening projects.

4. Plastic Grocery bags -- Always use them as trash bags for small bathroom trash bins.

5. Vacuum Cleaner Bags -- We all know vacuum dirt bags are very expensive, so here is an idea, make an opening on the bottom side, empty the content and staple it back or seal with a tape and reuse.

I leave the rest to members.

I reuse plastic bags as

I reuse plastic bags as waste bags in bathrooms.

I reuse Rubber bands that come along with cilantro, mint to store rolled greens in paper towel and tie them with r.bands.

poland spring bottles for juices or gatorade for my husband

sandwich bags - if good, reuse

yogurt boxes - destem g.chillies and store them.

shoe boxes - to keep things organised - i keep hubby's socks in one ofthem, kids socks in the other.

Diaper box - to keep loose papers.

I use give kids used one sided paper to draw.

Vacuum bags collects

Vacuum bags collects pollens, dust mites and some microscopic organisms and I would advise not to reuse them, the may stick to your hands, dress when you try to clean the bag and put it together with a tape again. 3 pack vacuum bag sells for $3 in wal-mart and its a good idea to spend $3/month for vacuum bags.
