I always have hard time peeling the skin of Tapoica before boiling. Is there an easy way to do it. Or you just scrap it with knife? MAy be I have to use a sharper knife? Please let me know.

we usually smash grated coconut, sugar, elam, then tapioca and make balls. :D:D:D we make balls like this with boiled kadalai paruppu, boiled moong dal, boiled chickpeas & boiled rajma :D:D:D

Nice recipe. We sri lankans also make it….

Btw, Ppl usually say not to boil maravalli in closed vessels as it release cyanide. Its wise to boil in open vessels. so cyanide can go out.

Do not use even if it has a small blue spot or slight blue shade as its poisonous. Grand parents advised not to take maravalli & ginger. Its harmful so better avoid it.
