|1 lb||Beef (boneless cut into small pieces)|
|1 tsp||Ginger garlic paste|
|4 nos||Mint leaves (chopped)|
|¼ tsp||Turmeric powder|
|2 tsp||Red chilli powder|
|1 tsp||Corrainder/dhania powder|
|¼ tsp||Cumin powder|
|2 nos||Onion (finely chopped)|
|10 nos||Curry leaves|
|3 stks||Corrainder leaves (chopped for garnishing)|
|4 tbsp||Coconut oil|
|¼ tsp||Salt (or to taste)|
Wash and cut beef into smaller bite size pieces and marinate with all the ingredients from table-1 for atleast half hour to tenderise the meat. Take a shallow pan, heat coconut oil and saute onions till golden brown; add the marinated meat to the onions and keep frying until it turns dark brown. (At this stage it can be pressure cooked with little water if preferred). Once done keep frying until the gravy thickens and becomes dry. Taste for salt and garnish with curry and corrainder leaves.
Tip: When buying beef, look for tender cut portion or pound and make it into bite size portions ,so that it doesnt have to be pressure cooked.
