    This one looks so decorative, pa…You would have named this one as the Xmas cake…Is cake flour different from all purpose flour?…

      Thanks for ur comments Sugan..   Cake flour is not different from all purpose flour. Both are same as of my knowledge. I used All purpose flour only.. And one time i tried with Maida also.. Dint find any diff. VIJI

      Kavi akka.. You can use whipping cream and heavy cream too. But when u use whipping cream i think no need to add butter. Not sure thou.. Vanilla will give nice aroma akka. I haven't tried anything without vanilla. Very sorry i'm not sure. You can definitely give a try.. You can substitute vanilla with almond extract too..VIJI

          Kavi akka. Nice to hear that from you. Next time to make you work easy just get heavy cream and whisk it together with sugar. But i'm sure that you wont get the satisfaction when you do that. Because its not from scratch nah.. But for a quick frosting try that..VIJI

      Hi Vidhya, I haven't tried this without eggs. But u can definitely try this without adding aggs. If u r not adding eggs you have to add a bit more flour or reduce the amount of butter and buttermilk. You can give a try and let me know how it came out. VIJI
