6 nos

Curry leaves

1 no

Medium size tomato (chopped)

1 tsp

Garlic paste

¼ slice

Ginger paste

5 nos

Potatoes

1 tsp

Meat curry powder

½ tsp

Chilli powder

2 pinch

Black pepper powder

Salt for taste

Lime for taste

Instructions

Boil the potatoes & slice them into small cubes. Keep it aside. Heat oil and splutter mustard & fennel seeds. Add chopped onions and saute till the raw smell goes away. Now add tomato, green chillies, curry leaves, ginger & garlic and sauté till the raw smell goes away. Add meat curry powder, chilli powder & pepper powder and fry till the raw smell of chilli powder goes away. Add potato & lime and cook for 3 to 5 mins.

Notes

Meat Curry Powder

Do not pour cold water to boiled potato. It hardens the potatoes. Just let it cool down itself.

You can add more tomato if you dont like to use lime

Instead of chilli powder and curry powder, add turmeric powder for potato masala.
