My husband was all praises for this snack which he used to get in the IIT canteen when he was in mumbai. He was asking me to try this recipe for a long time which i did finally. I had no idea what it tasted llike or what ingredients it had, and my husband couldnt do much help. So with the name as guidance i used my own formula and it came out sucessfully as a clone to the original recipe. This would make a yummy evening tea time snack or a surprise lunchbox snack for kids.| Ingredients | |

| 1 pack | Maggi noodles (prefreably vegetable atta noodles) |
| 1 cup | Besan flour (kadalai maavu) |
| 1 cup | Rice flour |
| 1 tsp | Chilli powder |
| 1 tsp | Salt (or as per taste) |
| pinch | Orange food color (optional) |
| 2 cup | Oil for deep frying |
Instructions
Cook the maggi noodles as per instructions, till all the water is absorbed. Let it cool. Prepare the bonda batter with rest of the ingredients. Reserve a teaspoon of the besan flour. You may add some chopped curry leaves or coriander leaves to the batter. It gives a crunchier texture to the bonda. After the noodles is cooled, dust it with the reserved besan and make small balls with your palm. Then dip each ball into the batter and fry the bondas in the oil. Serve it hot with ketchup and/or mint chutney.

May i know 1 pack maggy means how many grams? or size of the pack…

This noodles bonda is something new to me… looks crispy and sure would make a great eve snack with some ketchup. Thanks for sharing.
Any specific reason behind the veg atta noodles? Can it be the regular plain masala stuff?

i preferred vegetable atta noodles jus bcoz i thought the mixed veggies makes this bonda more interesting than plain masala noodles..but u can also use masala noodles if u want..wudnt make much difference in taste
sounds very diff and has to be yummmm as its MAGGI!!!!! will surely try and let u knw..
