Description

Dessert item from Tamil Nadu.
Ingredients
100 g Sooji
¾ cup Sugar
3 tbsp Ghee
4 tbsp Oil
1 no Cardamon (crushed)
10 nos Cashews (fried and kept aside)
1 pinch Food colour

Instructions

In a pan pour oil. When it is hot enough add sooji and fry for 1 minute. Pour 1 cup of water to it, bring it to a boil and when the water evaporates add sugar, cardamonand pinch of orange or yellow food colour. When the sugar dissolves and the content becomes thick add ghee and cashews. Serve hot.
