- Spinach :1 pkt
- moon dhal or thuvar dhal:1 cup
- coconut 1/4cup
- black gram (urud dhal);1tblspn
- redchilli:3nos(2 for grinding & 1 for tempering
- turmeric powder:1 pinch
- salt 1 tsp
- coconut oil:2 tsp
Cook moon dhal or thuvar dhal and keep aside.Finely chop the spinach and cook with salt and turmeric powder.Put 1tsp coconut oil fry urudhad dhal and redchilli.when it is cold grind with coconut and jeera.It should be a fine paste.Add dhal and the ground paste with spinach.Temper it with mustard,urud dhal and redchilli in coconut oil.
Note:we can use normal keerai as well as spinach.
we can also use yellow moon dhal as well as thuvardhal
