|1 cup||Urad dhal(ooluntham paruppu)|
|¼ cup||Raw rice (pachai arisi)|
|½ cup||Kalkandu (can increase or decrease)|
|Salt as required|
|Oil for deep frying|
|¾ cup||Sugar (can increase or decrease depending on your taste).|
|½ tsp||Cardomen powder|
|10 nos||Cashews (fried & keep aside)(garnishing)|
Soak urad dhal and raw rice in water for more than 1 hour .
Grind it very smooth with out adding water.if needed add very little water.Add kalkandu at the end of grinding.
Add salt while grinding itself so that it mix well.
For making sugar syrup. In a pan add sugar and little water , stir it well till the sugar gets dissolved, when it starts boiling switch off the flame.
Add the cardomen powder to the syrup and mix well.
Heat oil in a kadai, When the oil is heat enough. make small vadai out the batter.
And add the fried vadais to the sugar syrup.
Garnish and serve with fried cashews.
