in my opinion i would not recommend to take any of the things to india,because in india we can get a lot variety,if we get it here,they wont work in india.so my advise is give the money to whom u would like to give a gift,so they can buy whatever they want.

hi gals if u wanna get a hair straightner or blow dryer  for ur india trip get dual voltage flat irons which will automatically converts it for worldwide usage from 120 to 240 volts but you may need the adapter to allow the plug to fit in local outlet (in india we normally use 2 0r 3 round pins )

Good items. Also its a nice idea to avoid buying electrics because of the voltage converters being expensive in india. Digital cameras,camcorders, hand bags(kohls clearence), brand name sandals, shoes (cheap if u buy here in clearence), brand name dress shirts,lots of pista ,badam packs from costco,sweater,blankets, cordless phone,food processor ,unlocked cell phones, men body spray etc ,electric tooth brushes like sonicare , were a big hit as told by my friends.

Nowadays everyone has a microwave oven, so buy those corningware microwave dishes with lid. Grilling sets, knife sets, cutting boards, non stick pans with wooden spoons will be an excellent gift idea for in-laws. Check out Kohls clearance, they have nice handbags. Pill organiser, heating pads, Yarn and knitting sets, Refridgerator magnets..though silly is much liked by most. Aruna has also given enough ideas to fill your boxes. Have fun shopping!!
