Usually we use channa dal r moong dal for making kootu, i tried it out with 3 dals as well as with ginger garlic paste n garam masala powder, this kootu tastes awesome n goes with hot rice topped with ghee as well for chappathis, parathas, idlies, dosais n even with pongal…with two cups of mixed veggies, this kootu will be colourful as well as with plenty of vitamins…give a trial friends..

Its a good practise to include some kind of herbal greens / spice once in while in our normal diet. In India these are available in abundance and is seen in markets fresh almost throughout the year. But its the opposite state here and much harder for us to locate one such items in the market. Indian stores sometimes have fresh bunch of curry leaves which is one item loaded with healing properties and can't afford to be missed.

Idli with Zucchini..a real fusion..i tried this idlies with zucchini just to give a trial..but the result was wonderful..as we know zucchini is a low calorie vegetable, can have them largely while dieting, this vegetable will get cooked easily n good for health..Here we go..

Kheer with bread? interesting!! rite…got a pack of leftover bread n was bored to make them as spicy dish, i tried it out as sweet bread balls, once i did the sweet bread balls, got an idea to make them as kheer, my experience turned out amazing, this kheer is quite interesting n none will trust u if u told them that u have prepared them with bread slices…Different kheer with bread can replace the usual kheers..give a trial friends..

Usually we use channadal for making masala vadai, i tried it out with greenpeas soaked over nite n grinded with spices..fried as deepfrying this vadai tastes so tasty, colourful as well as healthy too..can be side for any choice of rice dishes n also can have them as snacks with a cup of hot tea r coffee..give a trial friends..
