Murungakkai Poricha Kara Kuzhambu

Kara Kuzhambhu is a staple in every tamilian home and takes quite a lot of forms just from region to region. This recipe is one such which is famous in Pondicherry, where they include coconut paste to the regular kara kuzhambhu. Amaranth greens also known as Chinese spinach is a kind of leafy vegetable which is very popular in India, is great source of vitamins and minerals. There are quite a lot of varieties under this family… some also come with reddish tinge on leaves.
