A hoagie is an elongated bread roll stuffed with a selection of meat, cheese, greens and veggies. Here's my version of Hoagie sub with ham, bacon, chicken, onions, peppers, lettuce, cilantro and cheese stuffed in toasted wheat roll.

Chepa Pulusu is a tangy fish gravy famous in Andhra Pradesh. (Chepa – Fish, Pulusu – Tangy Tamarind gravy) This preparation is similar to our Tamilian Meen Kuzhambu but very spicy made with plain red chilli powder which gives that nice red colour to curry.
Curry leaf, is one magical herb with distinctive flavour which brings out the great aroma of most Soutn India curries. They are available in abundance in India but a treasured groumet produce for people living in other countries. Preserving and storing them is a big question among many most of us. After trying a few attempts in my kitchen, came to a conclusion that freezing would be best solution to preserve this green gold.
Curry leaves can be preserved in the following ways.
Chocolate flavoured soft chewy brownies with toasted hazelnuts. Surrender to seduction straight from the oven!!!!
Breakfast muffins with fresh blueberries, toasted cashew and crumb topping.
Mashed veggies stuffed in bread, rolled in swirl pattern. Mostly these swirl breads are either stuffed with sweet cinnamon or herb filling. Mine being an exception… with veggie filling, though primary idea was adapted from one such recipes.
Basmati rice cooked with egg on dum to make this scrumptious biryani. The term "Dum" refers to the whole process of steam cooking or baking. Mostly this process is done where rice is cooked in Handi (special vessel) over char-coal heat and steamed for several minutes, which gives that special taste…. infused from char-coal smoke. So anything cooked without following the traditional method will result less tasty no matter how or with what its cooked.
Biryani made in rice -cooker —(Less work, minimal time, no wastage, stiff rice, taste ok)
The moment you hear "Thenga Manga Pattani Sundal", a lightning childhood flashback kindles your head. A trip to Madras / Chennai is not complete without making a visit to Marina Beach, which is famous for its quick snacks. Though there are quite a lot to try like Spicy Molaga Bhajis… Pani poori..Bhel poori.. Aama vadai.. Kai Murukku.. this one thing called "Sundal" packed in paper cones always captures our heart.
