Most of us are health conscious but still cannot stop eating our own favourite dishes which we enjoyy from our childhood.
Here are the approximate calories for some of our commom menu.
1 chapathi (with little oil) = 96 calories
1 chapathi (with mint) = 117 calories
1 phulka = 73 calorie
1 methi/spinach roti = 112 cal
1 parotta = 133 cal
1 aloo paratha = 625 calories (depends on the stuffing)
1 naan = 136 cal
1 kulcha = 133 cal
1 poori = 80 cal
1 aloo bhatura = 156 cal
1 idli = 65 cal
1 dosai ( with 1 tsp of oil) = 101 cal
1 rava dosai = 75 cal
1 pesarattu(andhra style) = 81 cal
1 appam = 95 cal
1 adai = 87 cal
rava upma 1/2 cup = 380 cal
semiya upma 1/2 cup = 360 cal
1 rava idli = 110 cal
These might vary (more or less) for each one's individual recipe (like the amount of oil/butter/ghee we use.)
