It is safe to contribute in

It is safe to contribute in 401K if you do not retire immediately in the next 5 years since the inflation rate and the market value will be high and you will get return of investments. So in these bad times hold tight and wait out bad times. This is a temporary recession US and rest of the world is going through and will be recovered gradually. I do understand that 410 k lost 2 trillion in the past months to date but this loss will affect people who retire in the next year or so. Hope this helps.

With market falling soooo much, is it safe to contribute to our 401K. Please throw some light girls, how safe is our money?? Will it all disappear one day if this situation drags?? any wise thoughts?? Ours is with Fidelity group, can you rate this?
